Description: 

·        This function returns the last day of the month that contains the specified date, with an optional offset.

Example:

            DECLARE @date DATETIME;

            SET @date = '12/1/2010';

            SELECT EOMONTH (@date)

           Result:           2010-12-31 00:00:00.0000000
